The Club welcomes new members. It has club rifles and equipment available for beginners. Young persons (under 16) must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The Withergate club was formed and started shooting in 1950. It was formerly The Smallburgh Rifle Club. It is an indoor range which was an old Nissan hut, but has been modified over the years with a club room, gun room and toilet. There are four prone 25 yard firing points, two firing points for lightweight rifle shooting, two ten metre pistol/air rifle points and two bench rest positions at 25 yards.
